Joseph M. Cercone

I was a student of his at Campus West back in the 80´s and have always wanted to find him to tell him how grateful I was for him. It breaks my heart that I wasn´t able to tell him how much he has helped me. I have tried to find him in the past with no luck, and today I decided to do a search and saw about his passing. Even after 45 years I still often think of him and how much he has helped me. I´m so sorry to all his family and friends.

Mr. C was the first teacher to reach me where math was concerned; I struggled but he stayed with me. Campus West, 1981-82. Years later, I met Kathleen at Canisius Library...my condolences.

My deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Cercone. I was a 11or 12 year old student taking Algebra(Course 1). This man taught me more about math than any other teacher I have ever had. He was hilarious. And the Outfits!!! Nearly 40 years ago and I will never forget those classes at Campus West and those suits. I only lament that I have never had the opportunity to connect with him since becoming an adult. I loved that guy! May he rest in peace! (PS- That´s me with in the red shirt).
