Our deepest sympathies on the passing of your beloved father and grandfather. He was so proud of all of you and continually delighted us with stories of his family.
Joe was a dear friend - warm, thoughtful, passionate and ever-engaging. He loved to recount the old days and shared many memories of times when he and our mom were back in school. His positive outlook and gentle spirit will be greatly missed.
God bless and comfort you. Please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

It's amazing how your Dad and Aida's mom were born on the same day, March 19th! We have lost two very special people born on the same day, but we all know, they are now resting in peace.

His positive attitude and supportive gentleness had a lasting impression on many a DePaul athlete. It was an honor to know Joe.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your wonderful father and grandpa. I was lucky enough to have sat with him in your yard a few weeks ago when he was so upbeat and talkative. He was so proud of his grand kids. He must have mentioned how smart they were and what good swimmers they were 10 times.
