Our prayers are with the Chaney family at this time. May God be with you at this time. I know it's hard for you, but we know he's now in heaven with other family members who have already left our presence...and thank God he does not have to suffer any longer.

My mother, Mary Elizabeth Calvert, always bragged on the care Joey gave her during her illness. He made her feel so special , and she knew he would get the job done.. of course, I will always remember him as Connie's (Bubbas too,little brother). So sorry he had to suffer so long. He had a great support group that will be with him later

Me and Joey were next door neighbors when we were in our teens. I was always inspired by his attitude and his positive outlook on life. He was a very smart and caring nurse and somebody that I looked up too. RIP my friend. Ronnie
