Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Chao and family,

I attended Phillip Shore Elementary/Junior High School, Class of 1955. Mr. Chao was a most motivating teacher. We were fortunate to have had him as our teacher.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

This was my Grandfather, or Nanu as I called him. I loved him very much and he always was there, always made my laugh, and made any time a great time. He was open and understanding to all things and was a good friend and teacher of many things on top of being my grandfather. I am gonna miss him a whole lot, but I know he is with god and at peace. I love you Nanu!

I have just learned of Joe Chao's passing. I had the honor of being taught Algebra by him at Philip Shore Jr. High. He recuited me to work with him in the Welfare Dept.in 1964. He was a fine man. It was a blessing to have known him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all as you go through this difficult time.

My deepest sympathy to Mr. Chao's
family. Joe Chao was my homeroom
teacher at Philip Shore in 1955.
He is not forgotten, he was a great guy and I enjoyed having him for a
teacher. May he RIP.

Mr. Chao, I appreciate having had the opportunity to work for you for a number of years at the County. Thank you for hiring me. I will always respect your knowlege and courtesy and constantly remember your guidance and patience. May you rest in peace . . . .

To Joe, Jr. and Family: My deepest condolences to you and your family.

Lily,so sorry to hear about Joe,our
prayers are with you and the family.

I worked for Joe for many years when he headed up the Program and Budget Development Department. He was always a fair boss. I remember always talking to Lily every afternoon when she would call to check in with Joe. Lily would talk to me about her job at Frayne. You are in my prayers. Take care,

Judy
