Not sure what to say?

Dear Chirco Family and Friends, I'm sorry to hear of the loss of Joe and his kind presence. I remember the night skies at your home. He always welcomed us kids (circles of Billy's friends) and made a welcoming place for gathering, music, and creativity. Condolences.

I met Joey through a very dear mutual friend, Jan Hoekstra. Maybe 8-10 years ago when she moved from Michigan to Arizona. We have spent hours and hours together sharing meals, watching Jesus Christ Superstar that he truly enjoyed. We have been to a few plays and musicals as well. He had so much character and wisdom and a way with words. He spoke often about his beautiful children and grandchildren. He enjoyed sharing pictures of his family gatherings. He was truly blessed and grateful....

Joe was my history teacher and a great friend. We enjoyed periodic lunch outings when we solved world's problems. I will miss you my friend.

So sorry to hear that Mr. Chirco passed away. I haven't seen him since Catholic Central '71,  but I remember him as a very pleasant and fine Teacher. I remember both he and his brother, John, taught in the same time-frame. He was another nice person from a good Family. God Bless

On behalf of the Catholic Central Class of 1960 we wish to send our condolences to Joe's family. May he rest in peace.

We had the privilege of having Joe as our neighbor for many years. Many fond memories of him fishing in the backyard. Always a smile on his face and a story to tell. Sympathy to the family. RIP - Greg and Amy Veltema

I would stop and chat with Joe on my way to art class because how could you not, his personality would draw you in like a magnet. It was obvious that all of his students LOVED him, there was such a mutual respect from both sides. The world was such a wonderful place with Joe in it and now heaven has gained the most valuable of angels, I am so jealous. Thoughts of comfort and wonderful memories to Joe´s family and all who knew & loved him.
