Not sure what to say?

Joe and I were pals at Tinker school in Waterbury in the '50s. He was a lot of fun, full of imagination and verve. Along with other kids, we would be the Musketeers (he would be D'Artagnon) fighting skirmishes with various bad guys, Joe always providing and directing the story line. We remained friends over the years, last coming into contact in 2008, having lunch in Waterbury where he told me how proud he was of his children. Good guy. I'll miss him.

I have known Joe as a friend and colleague for over 35 years. He was a great friend whose laughter and warmth was without limits. An outstanding attorney with compassion and common sense. We spent time with him and his family when the kids were little. A family man who always talked about how wonderful his wife and kids were. A joy to be around. His memory is truly a blessing.

My deepest sympathies go out to Joe´s son and daughter, Joe was one amazing and happy person and I am glad I got to know him. Rest in peace

Had the pleasure of meeting Joe. Great prosecutor and good person

Joe's wife Janet and I worked together at St. Benedict School in Montebello, CA in the '70s. While I didn't really know Joe, I'm sure that he was responsible for many of Janet's joyful smiles in those days. I didn't know that she has already passed. My prayers for both of them. Condolences to their surviving family and friends, especially their children. Pat Garcia

Joseph always came back and forth to ct when his mom was alive. We saw so much of him back then and he often came to our house for a meal and memories of the good old days..he will be so missed. Our prayers go out to Janine Joey and Carmen during this sad time. Fran and Gil Morea

There are so many wonderful memories of our cousin Joe. He always visited his Uncle Mike & Aunt Rose when he was in Conn. They were very special moments with all of us laughing & eating together at the kitchen table & will never be forgotten. Our heartfelt sympathy to Joey, Janine, & Carmen. Keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers. With Love, Mary & Zeke
