Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear.. Joe & your whole family was always in our granddaughter Kate's life.. You are a very special family.. our love & prayers go out for you all

Junior was a friend since childhood when our family moved next door to the Cobbs on Hastings Drive in the early 1960s. He taught me how to play basketball well. I also worked with Junior and Mr. Cobb at Anheuser-Busch and was always happy to see him on the line when I passed through the plant. I am so sad that I was unable to make it to the service and see the Cobbs and the Allens and pay my respects in person. Deepest sympathies from my family, the Aikens and the Shackleys to the entire...

Joe was a true gentleman and Christian example of manhood. He will be missed here, though he is recieving his eternal reward for a life well-lived.

Joe was a joy to talk to. We both drove the bus for ESOL and volunteered at Hampton Coastal and the Food Ministry. He was always friendly and welcoming. Fun to be around and hang out with.

All the words about him in this obituary are true. He was always so engaging, kind, and humble. He will be missed.

Sorry for your loss. I enjoyed our baseball conversations at church Sunday morning. He told me about all his years coaching Little League baseball. I will miss seeing him around church!

Mr. Joe serving on the security team at Coastal Hampton

Prayers of comfort, peace and strength to the Cobb family. We know Mr. Joe as one of the main security guards at Coastal and always kept watch over the children's ministry area. He always greeted everyone with a smile and gave our daughter a wave when she was able to walk and high fives now that she's 6 years old. When you think of Coastal and who represents the church body, Mr. Joe comes to mind. It was a pleasure and blessing to us to have met him.

Cobb Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Cobb. May your cherished memories bring you all peace and comfort during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Ann I was so sad to hear of Joe’s passing. I am thinking of you and your family at this sad time and sending you love.
