Not sure what to say?

I spent a lot of time working with Ellis in the late 70's -- he was a gentle soul with a great sense of humor. RIP my friend....

Ellis,
Know that you will be missed, and are remembered as a kind, gentle, and fun friend.

Hey Ellis, There isn't enough space to say all that I could. I've so many memories how everyone thought we were twins because we were inseparable; when you grew tired of me hanging onto you & Daddy, you'd say "the men go with the men, & the women stay with the women" that became our family slogan; how the kids on Willow St, would run when we came outside saying "here comes JoeJoe" because you'd always beat them playing marbles & pitching rocks; & you taught me how to defend myself, but you...

To my "One and Only" Brother Ellis-- You were truly one of a kind, and I'll never, EVER forget the things you taught me, and all the great times we shared watching football, listening to music, or just sitting around the house. I can still see you dancing at my wedding :) My heart is broken, but in time I'll be okay knowing that you're with God. Since Valerie is teaching the Angels how to dance, I guess now you can teach them how to REALLY SING!! See you in the next world Ellis, and I won't...

You will be missed Ellis... Gary Swinson.(1 of your drummers)

To the Cooper family, I've been a part of your family for many years, with a heavy heart I was sorry to hear about Ellis's (SCREAM to me) passing. Many a day from my early years i sat and talked to Ellis. We laugh, we drank, we had fun. I will sorely miss SCREAM!

The Tufts FAmily

To the Cooper Family: "We believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him." Find comfort in knowing Ellis is peacefully resting until we are all caught up to meet the Lord in the air. Find comfort in the Lord our God who will keep you in perfect peace.

Ellis was a very special person, friend and musician. A kind heart. One of the good ones. And talented ones. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.
