Not sure what to say?

Fond memories of Joe and his smiling face, gentle demeanor and great knowledge. Peace be with you Barbara. Carol Bever. Austin, Texas

Barbara,
Joe's great smile and sweet nature will be missed at the GOK museum. I remember fondly the reception when you opened your house and studio to docents. Accept my deepest sympathy for your loss.

My dear Barbara...you and your family are in my deepest prayers as I got to know you and loved seeing you both at the Museum when checking in for your tours. You both were upbeat, kind and certainly true docents. I always loved to chat a bit then. I got to know you both a bit more as you kindly took me along to ABQ for a docent day out to see the Art Museum and then along Rio Grande Blvd on the way home. A great day to always remember. Warmest thoughts, Judy

Joan and I have missed seeing you two lately -- and now, to hear that Joe has passed -- we are so sorry, Barbara. He and you were always a delight to talk to -- and when you shared your home and studio, we were so happy to share your wonderful creativity. Love, Joan and Lee Nash

Barbara and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Joe will be missed

Dearest Barbara and family of Barbara and Joe, I will forever remember the slight curl at the corner of Joe's face as he would tell a story and hoped he would get to the end before losing it . . . he had joy everytime I would visit, most often unannounced, and give me a hearty welcome and offering his time and love whenever I stopped in. He treated my family with the same unbridled care and interest as if we were members of the family. Joe you will always be a part of me and my family and I...

My deepest condolences to you, Barbara, and your entire family. I always loved seeing you together and admired your closeness. Your doing the tours together was indeed very special. Joe always had that adorable gleam in his eye and smile on his face.

Barbara,
I am so sorry to read about Joe's passing. Please know you will be in my prayers and thoughts. It was always great to docent by your side. And your wonderful wisdom!

A week ago today one of the greatest men I ever knew passed on to a better life with God in heaven. He was known by many as Pops, but I mostly knew him as Dad. A larger then life presence in the room, some would say larger then life, he lived a simple, grateful life and was a gentle soul. Those who knew him would attest to his integrity, honesty, sense of humor and good nature. He was a great mentor, teacher, leader and Dad and we will miss him dearly. It is often said that the measure...
