We just found out that Uncle Joe had died -- I am so sorry to hear of his passing, but know that he is organizing a party right now with all of our parents and relatives, making sure that everyone is having a good time, and telling jokes... rest in peace, Uncle Joe.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Joe ... I only was informed of his passing today. I hope you are well and wish you all the best in 2008.

Mr. Corbett,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice-first for our Country when you served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and secondly for the citizens of Boston when you served in the BFD. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

What a friend we had in Joe. The Amero family enjoyed the Corbett family and saw lots of Joe around the house. Growing up so close to the Corbett household, and seeing Peg and Joe often, was a comforting feeling when we were kids.

I have such wonderful memories of Joe during my days growing up on Shapley Ave. He was a great friend to my family and I always looked forward to his visits. He was a great support to my mom during her final years and always had such kind words of encouragement which helped her through many difficult times.
