Read MoreJoe was a longtime customer of my family photo supply store(Hendricks) in downtown Syracuse. We always enjoyed his visits, and liked that he stopped in whenever he was visiting the area after he moved to Eau Claire. He was a dedicated and creative photographer.

I was fortunate enough to have Mr. Costa as my humanities teacher in my senior year 1972. Mr Costa was such an inspiration to alot of kids. He was, by far, my favorite teacher in my 4 years at ESM.

So sorry to hear this sad news. I was a student of his at ESM. He was a very down to earth teacher with a very enjoyable class. He sure packed a lot of living into a life that was cut seemingly short. Sympathy to all that knew and loved him.

Mr Costa was one of my favorite teachers. We just had our 50th reunion this past weekend. Part of it was touring the school. I was thinking of him on July 6 as we walked past where his old room was. I hope he knew I was thinking of him. Rest in Peace Mr Costa
