Not sure what to say?

Joe was a great role model. Hard working and devoted to his family. Always quick with a joke, funny faces and funny sounds. He taught me a lot of things, especially about crabbing. He taught me to avoid the business end of a crab and as with a lot of things he showed by painful example. I had a lot of good times with Joe on our trips to Winchester Bay,our weekends at the cabin in Twain Harte, family gatherings and Holiday gatherings. I will cherish and miss those times with that I was...

My Dear Uncle Joe, you and Aunt Joyce have always been close to my heart. I will never forget the fond memories Joe and Joyce so freely gave me as a child, as well as other times as I grew up. Joyce is my Mother Sue's sister. Joe and my son Jerry share the same birthday (19 December). My deepest condolences go out to Patty, Greg, all the Costa's and other family and friends.

I miss my Grandpa Joe already. His hard work and resiliency and humor were so admired by everyone who met him. Grandpa had the best jokes, and was quick to make funny noises and contort his face like Jim Carrey - anything to make us kids laugh. I will always think of him when we have a big holiday feast with the family, or I see dairy cows grazing, or when I hear Jim Reeves, Eddy Arnold, or Patsy Cline.

My sincere condolences to Joyce , Patty and the family. My dad , Charles Cozby was a WWII Veteran too and served in Korea as a medic along with Joe. Dad passed away in 2013 and now they are both in Gods loving hands in Heaven. I´m so glad they did get to enjoy each other´s company on a couple of occasions prior to my dad´s passing. It brought joy to me to witness their forever friendship. God Bless your family, Alan Cozby
