Not sure what to say?

still thinking of you fondly, my friend. looking forward to reconnecting and catching up. cuz this shizz be taking FOREVER!

I am so sorry to hear of your loss of brother. Brothers are special. I have thought about all of you. All these years. Especially you Christine. Love from Jolyne.

Wow. Just looked him up and I find this. I am truly heartbroken by the news. However, I'm not surprised to see that I am far from the only one whose life he's touched in such a meaningful way. I'm so thankful to have known him. I'm grateful for all of the great conversations that lit me up at my dull bartending job. He was a friend and truly a fascinating guy. I thank him for his insight, intelligence, and of course for all of the mix tapes.

I met him on the 4th of July, sometime in the early 1990s , what i had to say i wrote on my blog, he broke the ice covering my heart and maybe i should have spent more time getting to know him but every conversation we ever had remains dear to my heart. In blessed memory and in deep sorrow he had to go so young.

Wow, I just found out that Joe Passed, and it's been almost a year. I am sad that I lost touch with him, and I am overwhelmed with the many many beautiful, heartfelt and of course hilarious memories of the years I spent with joe. So today while I feel deep sadness for his loss, he also feels so alive. He introduced me in my early 20's to the local rock scene in Boston, his passions inspired me and entertained me back in the 80's- can't count how many shows he insisted I go with him, I'm so...

Here's to the good times, my friend. You will be missed greatly. I'll see you at J.B.'s....meanwhile peace. xox

Joe: you kept me laughling for the past 35 years. I will miss you.
Keep rocking!

See you on the other side, my man..

To the Coughlin family, we hope that you find comfort and happiness in knowing that your brother Joe touched the lives and hearts of so many folks and gave them the eternal gift of many happy and funny memories.
