Mark, many condolences. Your dad’s story is truly inspirational on this Memorial Day. The only question is who should play him in the movie that should be made. Hope you and the family are well.

I have some very fond memories of Lou through the Riverside Post 10 Legion. He was a good friend to my dad and mom - Don and Thelma Bourne and my grandmother Mildred Bent. He was always a gentleman and he will be remembered as a kind, caring man.

Our prayers are with you all. My name is Margaret Snyder (Crevier) I am Guy Crevier's oldest daughter. I remember so many great and happy times in Rhode Island with the Crevier family. Times Lucien and the rest of the family were always some of my happiest and fondest memories. Although time and distance kept families apart we never stopped missing or loving him and the rest of you.

My condolences to the Family and Friends of Joe Crevier. I was lucky enough to have met Captain Crevier while working for the City of East Providence and, at that time, was lucky enough that, for the lack of room, our office was located within the close proximity of our City's Police Department. Joe was a scholar and a gentleman and I am so glad our lives crossed even though for a short time. God has Blessed his family with reasons to be very proud and memories to keep in their hearts...

It was a true honor having known ‘Captain Joe’ almost my entire life. He was a wonderful neighbor and one of my childhood idols. From grade school when he was working school crossings, to his crime scene teachings, to just talking shop and catching up in line at the pharmacy decades later, Captain Joe always shared his words,of wisdom and joke to put a smile on your face. Captain Joe Crevier, you were one of a kind. Thank you!

One of finest public servants ever. His wit, his mentoring, his honest opinion, he was an awesome role model for so many of us. He always had a story to tell and it kept us captivated. I loved working for him in every role. He made so many of us better. Thank you to the family for sharing him with us. Truly blessed to work with such a fine human being.
