Sgt Crocitto was my Company Instructor in the NYPD Police Academy Class of 1983 Company Number 28. Although I never saw him again after graduation he left a lasting impression on me forever. He would always remind the Class of the two most important things on the job were "Honesty & Integrity". Joe was my Official Company instructor in the Police Academy and a friend for many years after as our friendship developed over the years. A kind and gentle caring man. As my instructor he gave me the tools to be safe over a 20 year career. As a friend he offered love and guidance during many times of trouble. We last spoke via text on November 19, 2021 and I will always have the fondest thoughts and memories of my dear friend Joe. May you rest in peace in the loving arms of our Lord & Savior...

Joe was a true gentleman and pure fun to work with. We will all miss him.

RIP my friend, Joe was my instructor in the Police Academy in 73. We spoke a few times through the years, not enough.

I was an instructor at the NYPD Academy for a while. Meeting Joe had such an influence on my life. He would not hesitate in helping anyone who asked for his assistance. Joe has moved on to the next dimension and is surrounded by the light and love of our creator.

Joe was one of training officers while i was the police academy, 1973. I wouls see Joe from time to time over the years. Very nice guy and a real gentleman. with deepest regrets May he rest in peace !!!!
