Condolences to the Family; although I only had communication with Mr. Cronin maybe a few times, I always heard his name from my father and other retired persons whom I have communicated with from the Clerks' and Checkers' Union. He was one, along with others, who helped pave the way to what our current members of the local benefit. Joe and I were high school buddies at St. Aloysius Class of 1962. He always had a smile and fun to be around. I saw him last year at a casino in Bay St Louis. We recognized each other immediately , and had a brief conversation about the good old days. Joe had many friends, and he will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, my brother. Ted Baas
