I am saddened to hear of JD's passing and I apologize for not being able to attend but I have been deployed to the Bunnell District on wild fire support. I thought an awful lot of JD and he was one heck of man. Thank you for the time I got to be around him.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for the loss of this wonderful man. He touched my life but briefly, and I can still feel his love. I miss the great times we had as a church family!! Been a long time but I was sorry to hear of JD's passing. When I was a boy you and JD brought an anchor to my life I desperately needed. I sat this morning remembering him to trying to teach me to ride your riding lawnmower. He gave up after I almost run over some of your shrubs.
