Not sure what to say?

I was shocked to learn of the death of my friend Joe Curi. He and I were classmates at Colgate and he was the best man at my wedding to Fran, my first wife who unfortunately also has passed away. I last saw Joe at our 25th reunion in 1985. I am saddened by the loss as you most certainly are. I wish we had stayed closer in touch over the years and miles

Dr. Curi was my peditrician for all 3 of my own daughters. He helped me through so many illnesses and in bringing my daughters up healthy and happy! I remember his own children when they were small and how proud he was of them. They don't make doctors like Dr. Curi anymore He cared so much. He laughed and shared your child's development and milestones. My heart goes out to his family. He was simply the best.

The Curi family:
Both Chris, my wife, and I knew Joe when he was in Medical School at Yale. I was his classmate and we werfe his close friends-- ever hear of the "Sedate Eight"? Joe even borrowed some of my LP's (yes, that long ago) to impress Susannah on their first date. For some reason he thought my taste in music better than his. We studied hard and played even harder. I was short so basketball wasn't in my skill armamentarium. I last saw Joe at our 40th at Yale, when he got an award,...

Brandon and Auston Sept. 2007

To the Curi Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of your father. My thoughts and prayers are will you all. Dr. Curi cared for my sons, Brandon and Auston, from the time they were born until he retired. When most kids balk at going to the doctor, they both looked forward to seeing Dr. Joe. Maybe it was because they looked forward to getting one of his tongue depressor people, or a spider ring, or a tennis ball, or maybe it was because he took an interest in there lives...

Dear Sarah,

My thoughts are with you and your family. It sounds like your father had a wonderful career and a special way of touching people's lives-- just like you.

Please accept my deepest sympathies and thoughts during this difficult time. I know from Sarah how special your dad was to each of you. He was a very special man, and a very fortunate and blessed man. I know the memories of your father will comfort you, not just during this difficult time, but in the years to come.

To the Curi family--
We are so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. We only met him at Sarah and Marc's wedding, but I know from Sarah how special he was and how deeply he will be missed. Please know that our prayers are with you during this difficult time.
love,

So saddened by the news of Dr. Curi's passing...he was my Doc from '74-'91...and I dreaded the moment that I had to "graduate" from his care. I only wish my own children could be in the care of such a wonderful physician...they are few and far between.
My deepest condolences for your loss.

The Curi Family-
I am so sorry for your loss. Dr.Curi was my doctor since i was born until he retired. He was one of the funniest people i ever came to know. I remember everytime i would go in for a visit, i would ask him if i could have his big don mattingly poster because don mattingly was mine and his favorite New York Yankee player, and of course everytime he said no :). Its hard to find a doctor these days that actually cares about their patients and Dr. Curi was one of them. He will...
