Not sure what to say?

Dear Jody, I remember so well seeing your Dad in the color guard leading the Memorial Day parade in Woodstown for years. My family were also patrons to the shoe store of your Dad's remembered well for quality and integrity. Condolences to you and the family.

Dear Jody and family,

My sincere condolences on the death of Jody's dad. I know how important a member of your family he was. I always enjoyed Jody's wonderful, touching and funny stories about her dad and growing up in an Italian-American family like mine. I, too, lost my dad this past October and no matter how old they are or how ill they might have been, it is always a turning point in one's life to lose a parent. I wish you all peace and wonderful, loving memories of your...

Our family lived on Cream Valley Dairy on East Avenue in Woodstown. I was very athletic and needed new sneakers or shoes on a regular basis. Whether or not they were for sports or dress shoes, Mr Damiani allowed me to charge them and my father Rev. Abraham Morris would pay for them sometime later. This was long before there was any such thing as a credit card or charge account. As a kid growing up in Woodstown, I'll never forget those multiple kind gestures of generosity from Mr. Joe Damiani.

Dear Aunt Betty, Betsy, Jodi and Kathy,
My thoughts are with you during this time of sorrow. I am so glad I had the opportunity to spend some time with Uncle Joe and Aunt Betty two years ago during a visit to N.J. He never changed, always smiling, and a twinkle in his eye. He was a very good man. Love to you all.

I have fond memories of Mr. Damiani. He was ubiquitous and always friendly.I used to love the native conversations he and my Dad would have. And the old shoe store was a great place. He was a nice man.GX

Dear Betty-Betsy-Jody-and Kathy--all of us send our deepest sympathy at this sad time to you-we have such nice memories of the times we were together whether it be in Jersey or ardmore--and Joe always kept us laughing--that little squeeze of your cheek when he saw you-and those wonderful stories--I remember the times when my Mom would call you Betty-and talk to both of you-especially on Joe's birthday-or on St.Joseph's day-what nice conversations she had--i am going to tell you what i was...

Dear Aunt Betty, Betsy, Jody and Kathy, I am so sorry about Uncle Joe, some of the best memories of my childhood are comming to Woodstown to visit all of you. I have you in my prayers, sorry I could not be there, take care. With all my love, Dan
