Not sure what to say?

Our family always loved to see Joe with his constant smile and positive attitude. . .he tried hard to do all he could to fulfill his calling on the high council and to lift others' spirits

Joe was the perfect example of what a father and Priesthood holder should be. I always looked up to him. He was such a great role model for me. My parents weren't active in church and I pretty much lived at Becki's house because I needed the guidance of her family so desperately! I will never forget Joe, there will always be a special place in my heart for him. He has an incredible family that I know he is proud of. I love you all!

Joe was not only my second dad (as i called him) but he was my friend. Joe was alway there for me with encouraging and kind words. Me and my family are missing him greatly.

Papa Joe has been like a second father to me. He always had a smile and a joke for me and made me feel like part of the family. I was always impressed with how much love he showed his family in every word and action. He has influenced so many lives for good and he will always be a part of our hearts.

I cam to meet Joe through his daughter Rebecca. My short experience with him showed him to be a truly selfless and loving husband and father. As Rebecca is a witness of his spirit, I know that my impressions of the man himself are true. My prayers are with the Davidson family and I am thankful that a man of his commitment was given a chance to share himself with this world.

Someone expressed to me that Joe was the most beloved man they had ever met. I agree. I spent two and a half days with the family during and after the funeral services. I saw a family that serves the lord unceasingly and a family that knows families are forever. I saw a family who celebrated the life of Joe. There will be sadness because he is not physically there, but there is also joy because they know the veil is thin and he visits from time to time and smiles with the love he has always...

Dearest Joe! The most selfless man I ever met and was honored to know for nearly 40 years. If one asked Joe to run to the grocery store for the fifth time in a day, he'd happily go, jingling the coins and keys in his pocket, whistling a tune. His patience went on forever it seemed. Never failing to be grateful for even the smallest thing, he always wanted to know what he could do for another and would move mountains, if necessary, to see to another's comfort. Dedicated to his family and...

I remember Brother Davidson as a great Priesthood example when I was young. I'm sure he was one of the reasons why I chose to serve a mission. I love you all and wish you the best. Paul Wright

Everyone leaves their mark on this world. Sometimes they are not even aware of the people who they have touched in their lifetime. This is how Joe Davidson touched my life: Were it not for the life of Joe Davidson I would not have been blessed with the friendship of his daughter, Rebecca. I thank you, Sir, with every fiber of my being and know you and Rebecca will be united once again someday. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Davidson Family.
