Joseph was born on August 26, 1948 and passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. Joseph was a resident of Rochester, New Hampshire at the time of his passing. Joseph was retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving twenty years. He was married to Karen. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday Jan. 28 2017 at 1PM in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly Son Funeral Home 86 South Main Street Rochester NH. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Cocheco Valley Humane Society 262 County Farm Road Dover NH 03820.

I worked with Joe at aircraft job control at Pease AFB. For years I saw him on a daily basis. Either I relieved him at the end of his shift or he relieved me. He was a good guy and easy to get along with. He taught me quite a bit about the FB-111A. Since retirement we saw each other occasionally. The last time was summer of 2015 at White Lake. I knew Joe from Pease where he was the NCOIC of the swing shift in Job Control. A super NCO with whom I was honored to work. He was the first crew chief of FB-111A SN 68-0265. Requiescat in pace.
