Joe became my Godfather 70 years ago. While memories fade over the years, the few I still have of Joe are heartwarming. I am thankful for his service to our country. My sincere sympathy to his family. Joe is in my prayers. May he truly rest in peace.

Joe, was a dear friend of my dad and business partner,I always had great respect for this quiet man and he was a man of deep thought and sometimes few words, and such a dashing man with such class that you were so aware of his presence, my dad loved this man who was always his trusted friend in life no matter where the both were located at the time. My prayers are for Joe and his family and he is with his friends at peace now.

Joe,a fellow Meridenite, was my dashing lifeguard captain at Hammonasett and Rocky Neck in 1946 and 1947. He was someone we all looked up to and was a real class act. My deepest sympathy and condolences to his family and to my former classmate Joan.
