Not sure what to say?

I'm so sorry for your loss. As a former exchange student, I will never forget all that Rotary did for me.

Dear DelForte's Family
Joe was like a grandfather to me. he was, and always will be, The Best american grandfather that I've ever had.
my family and I are gonna miss him.

Delforte Family,
As a student at St. Bonaventure, the Delforte's made me and my college brothers feel at home whenever we visited. We truly looked forward to our road trips to Canandaigua. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Joe will be missed.

To Julie, Kristin, Jaden and David.
I had the chance to meet such a great man as Joe, and I feel very close to all of you in this sad moment.
Love

Ann & Family,

How sad we were to hear of your loss. There are no words of comfort at these times. May your wonderful memories sustain you in the days ahead. We keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Joe was a special kind of gentleman! He will be missed.

When my dad (Dr Winthrop) was in the hospital dying of cancer, Joe Delforte came and washed his hair and gave him a haircut. It made my dad feel better and was a wonderful gesture my family never forgot.

Joe Finally ate his last piece of pie first. A loving, caring man totally committed to his family and the betterment of Canandaigua.

Joe touched the lives of so many Rotary youth exchange students. I'm not sure when his youth exchange career began, because he had already been on the committee for some time when I was interviewed in 1994. He will be greatly missed by all of us on the district youth exchange committee.

Chris & Lisa (& the Delforte Family):

I would like to offer my condolences at this very difficult time for your family. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
