Deepest condolences to the family of Joseph DeLuca. Diane M. Diamante

My first trip to New York was with Joe, Al Hinton, Jerry Dumlao, Andy Argyropoulos, and Don King. Great memories. From a former grad student. RIP Joe.

Joe, my dear godfather, I´ll always remember when you let me pick out not one, but two, works of art for my 18th birthday. You were a great friend of my dad´s, and someone I always loved for your charismatic, joyful, and observant approach to life. You were truly a great artist that added so much beauty to the world. Our family will miss you greatly, as will the many people whose lives you made more interesting and meaningful.

Our condolences and prayers for the DeLuca family... Growing up in the WMU Art Department in the 70's it was great to have known him.

Wow. I instantly liked that guy when I first met him. We quickly communicated without words, a promise that we would never take each other too seriously. (Nor we would we take ourselves too seriously.) RIP, bro

I have wonderful memories of the times and trips that I shared with Joe. Everywhere he went he brought color to a mostly gray world. Tom Northrop
