I am very sad that this terrific guy is no longer around. What an extraordinary life of accomplishments. I only got to know Joe during his last months while he battled this terrible disease. Still we were able to share common experiences in aviation and passion for vintage Porsches that I hope brought him some pleasure. I was so sad to run upon Dr. Denman's obituary. What a great person and doctor. He happen to be in the emergency ward waiting to operate on another person when my husband and I took our son in with a very nasty eye injury. Dr. Denman ended up operating on our son, to our great relief. He was so kind, took a personal interest in our son and guided him through the recovery. This community has lost a precious gem. He will never be replaced.
