Not sure what to say?

Dear Sue, Connie and Family,

I am so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. I know your families have been through so much lately. Please know that I will pray for everyone.

Sincerely,

Cindy Schneider

If I lived to be a million years old I would still never forget Leo. His little sayings will live on in our minds forever. A great guy that many will miss.

To Aunt Lois, Peggy, Leo, Connie, Susie and family: I am praying that God will sustain you during this time of terrible loss. Uncle Leo was a devoted husband and father, and such a good man: kind, giving, unselfish, hard working and understanding. He thought of your needs and often supplied them before you realized you were in need. The world would be a better place if we had more people like him.

I wish I could hug each of you for a long time. I love you very...

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of a good man. I lived on Wilton Dr in New Orleans until 1976 and remember buying many snowballs from them and talking to the family.

Leo was truly a "workhorse" when he worked at Bell Telephone. He would go out on a days work with a young employee with him and come back to the work center just like he left in the morning, but the young employee was exhausted because he couldn't handle all the work that Leo did that day. He built his house himself, dug his own septic tank with a shovel, dug his pond with his shovel, he just was never...

There is story to be told from everyone about Uncle Leo. Growing up just down the street, he became a second father to our family. I can remember picking up the crawfish nets with my cousins and returning to the house for the Saturday evening boil. I remember a tireless man building his a-frame
house in Slidell with all his "goodies" he collected. He loved to teach how to build anything from scratch. He was a special uncle and will be missed dearly.

My deepest and heart-felt sympathy to all the members of the family of Mr. Deslatte. A loving family that I knew so well, and think of often.

I can remember a wonderful man who was always happy and made the day a little brighter. A husband who was always by his wife's side and a father who never tired of pleasing his children and grandchildren.

There are many steps to the grieving process.

Praise God for the joy that you will feel when you get to the step...

Leo taught me how to run twenty 25 pair cables in a conduit designed for fifteen. He was a wonderful person and I enjoyed every occasion that I had to work with him.
