Not sure what to say?

Dear Joe, Remembering you and your sparkling sprirt and zest for life every day. Halloween and the election this week. You would have been happy-
Love you and miss you very much. B

Happy Father's Day, Dad.

Kind of a tough day today, as I expect next Sunday will be---your 72nd birthday.

Just had to pop in here and say hey because it really felt weird not being able to say "Happy Father's Day" to you in person today. I hope you had a good day, up in heaven-I expect everyday in heaven is a good one.... :-)

See you in my dreams....and one day in heaven....

Love,
Peggy

Dear Peggy, Chuck & family,

I have been trying repeatedly to get an entry in this book. My computer just hasn't been cooperating.

We are all so sorry to hear about Peggy's dad. Please know that we know how she feels, having lost both our dads. Our prayers and sympathy are with you all.

We have been thinking about ya'll recently and have been remembering the times we taught the 4 & 5 year olds at Corpus Christi. That seems so long ago!

I did not know the father very well (Joseph Devore), but I knew all of his children, and consider them my friends. They are a great group of people - each unique in their own way. There is a part of him in each of them, and he must have been quite a man, and father.
My condolences to all who were close to him, especially the children - there is a better place for us.

My deepest regrets to the family. Joe and I have known each other for many years. He was a wonderful human being - may god bless.

Hey Dad--check it out--"Highest regards to Joe Devore, "Vent regular." That's the kind of recognition I want when I die." In the Vent on the week's anniversary of your death. I know you are beaming in heaven.
Missing you very much, Boppa!
Peggy

Our deepest sympathy! We didn't know Joe as well as we would have liked but knew of his deep commitment to family and friends. He was a shining star among us and now hopefully we can take some comfort in knowing he has been given the gift of eternal life and will be shining down on all of us.

I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. May all the memories of him keep you smiling.
You all are always in my heart.

Michele

Peggy says I have to leave my number: (678) 640 -9831 Cell.

We were new to St.Philip's church. When our daughter pointed out to us the man who would come to her classroom and read to the children. Ashley had told me that he was the funniest one and all the children Loved it when he came. So we introduced ourselves to the Devore's. From that time on we became good friends. Betsy had asked us to go on a Cursillo weekend. We thank God for them and Love them so. We will miss Joe-Joe's Devore Eggs!!!!
