Dear Marilyn and family, There aren't many loved ones who have left such wonderful memories as did "Chipper". Let us all thank God for knowing him and being a part of our lives. He is only a thought away.

I am so saddened for you Mrs. Di, Lisa, Michael, Janet, and Jodi, and all your spouses and children, its hardest on those that are left to carry on. I am so sorry for your loss! Uncle Chipper was always great fun! I will always remember the smell of his pipe, even to this day whenever I smell that pipe tobacco I always remember him. He will be truly missed by all his family in the U.S and Canada.

I last knew "Chip" Di Lascio over 55 years ago. His family including cousins Carmella & Trudy were neighbors. My parents ran a small grocery/ fruit store next door "Harry's Fruit Market". Chip was several yers older BUT always was took time to be friendly to the younger. kids. It's wonderful to know that a really nice kid grew into a wonderful man.

There are not any words to describe what Mr DiLascio and the entire DiLascio family mean to me. From sitting around at their dinner table, laughing so hard I could barely breathe and hearing Mr D say "Cheer up Joanne" to sleepovers to birthday dinners at the Pub to having him walk me down the aisle at my wedding, my heart is filled with wonderful memories. Mr. D, you were always a wonderful example of what a man, a husband, and a father should be and I am so grateful for the fingerprints you...

My sisters and I grew up across the backyard from the Di Lascios and they were our second family. I will remember Joe Di Lascio as a man who loved his family, had a great sense of humor, and was a good neighbor to all. My love and prayers to Marilyn, Lisa, Michael, Janet, Jodi, and the extended Di Lascio family.
