Frankie and I were new to the block when we met Joe at the conference of neighbors who wanted new roofs at our house. He was so friendly and invited Frankie to play poker with the boys down the street. We met Shirl when he cooked one of his Italian dinners at their house. Always talking about food...we went to several of his favorite restaurants too! Good times to remember.
