Joe D was one of the finest men I know. He was smart, witty, had integrity and was just a good guy. Joe loved his wife, sons and family members so much. One of the best memories in working in I/A was Joe. He was "one of a kind" and will always be remembered. It saddened me so much when I heard he died. What a great loss to his family, friends and the world. God bless you Joe I am sure you are making some Angels laugh with your jokes...

To the entire family and all. I knew Joe from 2nd Grade through Graduation from High School. We were classmates and friends. We were all lucky and greatful that our lives touched. He was a gentleman and could always build you up if you were down, with his charm, personality and humor. I will never forget him. My condolences to his family. I know he is watching over you and always will.

I am a friend of Joe Jr. and I had the pleasure of meeting Joe Sr. many years ago while playing a round of golf. We played on Father's Day and right from the start I could see a truly special father and son relationship that many of us only dream to have. Over the years it was great getting to know Joe and becoming his friend. He is very proud of both of his sons and although I have never met Jonathan, I feel I know him through conversations and emails that Joe and I shared. He will be greatly missed and always loved.

Joe "DiGug" was part of the fabric of our youth in Dobbs Ferry. I was one of many who knew him from grade school thru high school - as we both graduated in '67. Although we seemed to have gone our separate ways since then, it sounds like his dedication to both IBM, his family, and adult friends has created quite an honorable legacy. I was sorry that we did not meet again at one of our recent HS reunions. My condolences on his passing. Yet, my congratulations to Joe on a life well lived, albeit much too short.

Connie, Joseph and Jonathan,
I knew Joe for 44 years. We started working together at IBM in 1970, albeit he always reminded me that he started a week before me. We traveled all over the world together. He was a true friend and mentor. He always had a smile on his face and a positive attitude. We will all miss his stories but, moreover, we will also remember them.

I am very honored to have known such a dedicated family man such as Joe. I was given a huge career break when Joe was responsible for hiring me into his department at IBM, and I enjoyed working for him and having him as a beloved friend. He will be greatly missed.
