Not sure what to say?

Mr.Dolan changed the trajectory of my life by being the best history teacher I ever had. I hated history until I was in his class and because of him I ended pursuing a BAA in History. Philip Lester

I really miss Joe. He was a great friend and mentor. He became my friend when I started teaching history at Windsor Locks High School. His great sense of humor was the first thing you noticed about him, but then you began to see the great depth of knowledge and wisdom that he possessed. I met with him nearly every week for coffee and I never stoped learning from him. We often traveled around the area while I ran errands. Joe was great company and entertainment. He had wonderful...

I am greatly saddened as I only just learned of Mr. Dolans passing today. I had no idea. I worked with Mr. Dolan at East Granby Middle School and I have fond memories of him. The kids loved him and he enjoyed them also. He will be missed, I already miss him...

Please, accept our deepest sympathy for your loss.Stan and I were privileged to have "Mr. Dolan" as our history teacher(WLHS'71), and to know "Joe", in his various capacities, throughout our adult life. His honesty and compassion remained his constant, in whatever endeavor he took on.He will be missed, greatly and remembered, fondly.
Sincerely,
Stan and Maureen Kosinski

As a high school senior I had Mr. Dolan for an elective history course and his breadth and knowledge of American and world history was quite impressive. As a adult Joe became a friend, we attended football games together, talked politics, and I even took him flying once. His great sense of humor, his laugh, his political views, his...

With deepest sympathy during this time of difficulty.

I am very sad to hear about the loss of Mr. Dolan. He was THE BEST subsitute teacher in East Granby Schools. He was one of my substitute teachers since I was in 7th grade and I am very sorry. He will deffinitly be missed in East Granby High School.
