Joseph Lee Donnelly

Of all the parents of my childhood friends he was my favorite. Always there for his kids and his kids classmates he will be missed.

Alice, children, and grandchildren; On Dec 8, 2025, Joe called me to wish me a happy Birthday. We talked for approximately 15 minutes about getting together, and he passed away 30 hours later. I know the loss for his wife, kids, and grandkids is greater than we can imagine. I never heard Joe say a bad thing about anyone. He will be truly missed by his brothers of St. John's class of '67 Bob amd and Carla Williams aka Bubba

I am deeply saddened to hear about Joe´s passing. I´ve known Joe since third grade at Blessed Sacrament and then through our four years together at St. John´s. Those early memories are filled with his kindness, his easy smile, and the gentle way he treated everyone around him. I was also fortunate to work with his father on a few real estate projects over the years, and that same goodness clearly ran in the family. Even though I moved away from Washington and didn´t see Joe as often-seeing...

I´m deeply saddened by the news of the passing of my longtime friend, Joe. We watched our children grow up together in Kensington, played golf together in later years, and had many great conversations which were always a pleasure. We even did some business together. Truly a loss.
