Rest in peace, Msgr. Donovan. The Bridgemen were, and still are so much more than a world renowned drum & bugle corps. They are a reflection of Father Donovan and Ed Holmes. Countless lives have been changed for the better having been involved in the Bridgemen Family. Attending Mass at St. Andrews as a full corps, mixed races and faiths, before leaving Bayonne on a national tour is one of my most precious Bridgemen memories.

Our condolences to Fr. Donovans family. I went to St. Andrew's school and Church in Bayonne. Knew him for meny years, Father Donovan's guidence left his mark on the CYO and The Bridgeman Drum and Bugle Corps. He was a guideing light for the teens and young adults of the parish, He was a good person and will be missed.
