Joseph Michael Dooling, 81, of Suffren, New York, a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran who served from 1942 to 1945, owner and operator of Ramapo Hardware in Monsey, New York, for more than 30 years, passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, November 24, 2000. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 27, 2000, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at Wanamaker & Carlough, Inc. Funeral Directors, 177 Route 59, Suffern. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, November 28, 10 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church, Suffren. Interment will follow at Frederick Loescher Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Wanamaker & Carlough, Inc. Funeral Directors, Suffern, New York.

I was a customer of Joe's when I
lived in Monsey, 13 years ago. Joe
quickly became a friend. He was a
wonderful, gentle, warm, kind man.
The loss is very painful.
