Donohue Funeral Home - West ChesterJudith Ann Dooling, age 83, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025. She was born on October 6, 1942, in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, the third of four children.
Judith is survived by her brother, Tom Dooling; her nieces and nephew, Catherine Corrigan (Doug), Jennifer, Chrissa (Gary), and Peter (Maria) Dooling; as well as her grand-nieces and nephews, Colin, Shane, and Grace Corrigan; Isabel and Madeline Dooling; and Cora and Ava Dooling.
She is predeceased by her sister, Joan Dooling-Matchica; her brother, Charles Dooling; and her beloved nephew, Billy McClatchy, whom she held dearly in her heart.
A lifelong Catholic, Judith took a sojourn from the Church, but found her way back to her faith in later life, taking comfort in its teachings and community.
Judith was very dedicated to her professional life, spending 30 years with The Graham Company, where she built a lasting legacy.
A gifted pianist, Judith loved sharing her music at holidays and family gatherings, where her playing was often accompanied by sing-alongs.
She adored her cats and cherished each of them deeply. Ginger Mamie and Fred, as well as her most recent companion, Boots.
Judith’s sense of humor was one of her most defining qualities—quick, sharp, and wonderfully self-deprecating. She had a special gift for finding levity in the ordinary and for making others laugh, often by gently poking fun at herself. Whether sharing stories over a holiday dinner or offering a witty remark at just the right moment, she brought laughter to every room she entered.
Judith also had an amazing sense of style—she was a gifted decorator, a fabulous cook, and a wonderful entertainer. She really knew how to throw a party. Her home was a reflection of her talent and charm, and her gatherings were filled with joy, and unforgettable memories.
Judith will be fondly remembered for her sharp wit, sense of humor, and her unwavering love for her family and friends. Her presence will be deeply missed, and her memory will be treasured by all who knew her.
A funeral Mass will be held at Saints Peter and Paul in West Chester, Pennsylvania at 11:00 a.m. on November 22, 2025 with a memorial luncheon immediately following at Waynesborough Country Club in Paoli.
