I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He and his family lived across the street from us when I was a little girl. He was always very nice to all of us "little ones".

I have very good memories of Joe from when as a young teenage girl working at the lunch counter at the Shortline Bus Station in West Chester. Joe came in and sat at the end of the counter with all his text books and would study while I made him grilled cheese and tomato sandwiches. He would stay all afternoon. I remember this well because he was so nice to me and I think he knew he made me feel safe while I was working there. My sympathy goes out to his family.

Saddened to learn of Joe's death. We were in the last class to graduate from St. Agnes High. Joe was a top student and was the editor of our yearbook.
We were classmates from grade one to grade 12. Joe's mother and my mother were lifelong friends.
