My Prayers are with Caroline and his family

I really am sorry for your loss. Joe was such a nice guy and funny to boot. I always looked forward to our class reunion and seeing you there. Hope you find comfort in God's love and the well wishes of your friends.

To the Dowless family. We are extremely sorry for your loss. I remember Joe, trying his best to run me around the tennis court. To Carolyn, and Joe, I will forever be indebted for your relentless love and support you gave to Mom and Dad over the years. Truely great people are hard to find, and I'm glad they found you. Peace. Carolyn...
I am so very sorry for your loss.. My thought/prayers will surely be with you/family during this sad time of life. May God bless you now, and always.

We are very sorry to learn of this significant loss. Mr. Dowless will be sorely missed. We greatly appreciate his dedicated volunteer service and generous loyal support of Charlotte Rescue Mission for many years. We are putting your family on our Prayer List for His love with much peace and comfort to indwell each of you during this most difficult time. With many blessings.

Dear Carolyn, it's always a shock to read of the passing of a friend from one's youth, especially if many years have elapsed. Joe has been in my thoughts all day today as I remembered those days when we were all teenagers in Kannapolis. How lucky we all were to have grown up in such an innocent...and far simpler.... time.

I remember Joe not only as one of the leaders in high school, but as one fine dancer. And I remember times when the two of you and the rest of us used to...

Carolyn and Family, It is always distressing to read about the passing of friends. We remember our days at the old Charlotte Swim and Raquet Club and always enjoyed seeing you there. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and we hope in some small way it does help to know others do care. Joe & Zunita
