Not sure what to say?

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Throughout my entire Heart Association career in Illinois and in California, Joe was the one person in the National Center who always knew you by name, had time to share with you, and some nutty new gadget that he was trying to pawn off as the latest and greatest incentive you could give to a volunteer or to a donor. I worked with Joe Dowling in the purchasing dept at AHA for 5 yrs and when I left....I took his business mentoring with me. He was and still is one of the '10 most influential' people in my life. I loved Joe like a dad and he could tell the best jokes. He was a wonderful person, a proud veteran, hard worker, dedicated, loyal, a fun guy, a real family man and he will be greatly missed.
My sincerest and heartfelt condolences to Edie, his children, grand children, great grandchildren and...
