Not sure what to say?

This is very late but I just saw this. Mr. Dragovich was one of my favorite teachers, if this is the same man. And I believe it is. Pompano beach high School 1969 my senior year. My friend Hally baked him an apple pie and took it to his house. And his son was born that year. Seriously, I always remembered him. So sorry to hear this

Joe was my counselor and my friend. In many ways Joe literally saved my life. No one ever understood me like Joe . He was never judgmental and cared about you with unconditional love and concern. I still miss him every day and I just don't know why he had to leave us so suddenly and so soon . I miss you Joe and will never ever forget your reassuring kindness to me.

I can nit express how much I miss you. your words of advuce and confort plus your understanding was more precious than gold. you were my counselor but more importantky you were my friend. I NEED TO TALK TO YOU NOW. I would tell much the grief of losing you is hurting me. I have no one now like you. for 36 years I turned to you when my heart was broken, when I lost both parents, when I was confused and lost friends, What do l do now Joe. I hurt so bad now Joe. I kniw you are close but I cant...

Mike,

My name is Jim Headley. I have never met you but your Father and I were very good friends/ fraternity brothers while students at Marshall. I graduated one
year ahead of him, married (Joe was in our wedding), after graduation moving to New York City then to So. California. I was not able to connect with Joe after all of those years. Even after all of those years and not seeing him I was taken back and very saddened. I regret not having seen him after all of these years....

Over 30 years ago, when I was a Grad student at Marshall University, Joe really saved me from a very dark time I was going when I sought him out on campus for counselling. My then marriage was ending (although I did not know it) and he really kept me together and was one of the key people in my life responsible for getting me out the other end in one piece. I eventually remarried, now going on 30 years, with two daughters and owe a good deal of that to him. I was just thinking of that fact...

Humor, intelligence, wit - but most of all, a sweet, good soul. Memory Eternal Sonny.
Deepest condolences to Michael, George, Marsha and families.

Joe was one of the nicest men we know. He was an exceptionaly nice man from the first day we met him. We will really miss Big Joe also his support, friendship and companionship.

Joe was a wonderful man and professional. We are Marshall and the community will surely miss such a dedicated person, who only comes along, so infrequently. I always admired him.
