Not sure what to say?

You know whats great about being Catholic? It's our relationship with the deceased. Our whole nuclear family reverted to the Catholic Faith two years ago when I got a tremendous healing after a Catholic priest offered me the sacrament of confession. My son Solomon and Jim jumped right in but Daniel had loads of tough questions so he took a year apologetic class at MIT(starting with proof of existence of God philosophically!) and with great enthusiasm decided to get confirmed Catholic last...

He was a great brother even though he loved to tease. Joe will be remembered always, always there when needed. I would call him and say Joe, this is your favorite sister. He knew my voice but would always say, hello Margaret, then give me his silly laugh. Many great memories of parties and times together and apart. He was there when my husband left this earth ll years ago. They are probably in heaven reminising about the lousy Pinochle player I was. Love you and miss you always Joe.

Dear Marg and Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy at the loss of your loved one. Be assured of a special rememberance in my prayers and those of my Franciscan Family. Our Sister's will continue to pray for Joseph and all of you at our House of Intercessory prayer in Tampa.
May Joseph rest in peace.
God bless each of you!

To the children of Joseph V. Duane--

Many prayers and sincere condolences.

Neighbors for over fifty years, we are all going to miss him. He was a great husband and father.

Betty, I was sad to here of Joe's passing; he was such a wonderful man and was always nice to see.

I am happy to see the comments about Joe's humor. It gave him joy to make others happy. He made us all laugh with his Irish wit and great jokes. I loved his laugh and his smile. I met him when I was 13 years old when he was a CYO advisor, before meeting his son, Jim (my husband). He treated me like one of his own daughters. I am sad about this loss, especially for my children losing an outstanding grandfather and role model.

Dear Jim and Family,

Your dad had a great sense of humor and was kind to everyone he met. May God bless you all and help you find peace and love throughout this time.

Jim & Family,
We are sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
