I will always love and miss Joe. My 'lizard' partner! How much fun we had with him in our family! I can still hear auntie Barbara and uncle Rudy Tavares hollaring at all the noise we'd make. My prayers are with you all.

It's the laughter we will remember.. "Running in and out of the library as kids, Joseph singing Pat Benatar's 'Love is a battlefield' at the top of his lungs as we struggled to define ourselves as young adults in cutoff t-shirts and punk rock hair=dos..." whenever we remember, the way we were.
