Durand, 74, of Menands, New York, a U.S. Army and Navy veteran of World War II, an employee for 36 years of Niagra-Mohawk before his retirement in 1986, died at Memorial Hospital on Thursday, June 13, 2002. Calling hours are scheduled for Friday, June 14, 2002, 4-8 p.m., at McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany, New York. Services are scheduled for Saturday, June 15, 8:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, 9 a.m., at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Albany.
