Not sure what to say?

I´m just another member of the Tip Hill community, remembering Joe from a long time ago. My cousin and I saw him often, when we went to see the flying column at McGrortys pub, now Nibseys. He was always friendly and nice, and funny! I then moved right down the road from him and we had wonderful talks. I don´t think he ever knew my name but sometimes, those kinds of relationships one of a kind. He was a Beloved part of the community. I know he passed years ago, but now that it´s official for...

To Joe's family:

I met Joe several years ago when he decided to become a client. He seemed a happy guy who always had a good reason to be busy. He loved being around golf or working on the course. Most of all, he loved breakfast or a drink with his buddies. I wish I could have met them all, because he spoke so highly of all his friends, he spoke with a gleam in his eye and grin on his face. I am sure his friends will miss him. I know will.

I met Joe in 1966 when I started visiting the "West End." I lived with 3 other nurses and every Friday night started at Wheelers for dinner, then to the Blarney Stone, then back to the house for late night parties with the "mug club gang." What a great time we had...Joe and I always laughed because we had the same last name..."Dwyer and Dwyer." We saw each other again in the late 80's for a couple of years...again, always a great time. I have wonderful memories of Joe and will miss him...

Sorry to have missed the calling hours. I'm out of town. Joe Dwyer was one of the people who made growing up on Tipperary Hill one of the best life experiences possible. He'll be greatly missed.

What a fun loving person who always greeted you with enthusiasm and humor. The West End will miss you but not forget you. Dick Haydon
