Robin - you and I volunteered at Gould School library and had fun together. So very sorry for your great loss!

Dr. Joseph Eastern will be missed by both me and my husband. We went to his practice for years. RIP Sincerely, Craig & Lisa Hands

I was a patient of Dr. Eastern's. He was always caring and professional. Loved seeing pictures on his walls of his adventures. He will be sorely missed. My heartfelt condolences to all his family.

I was just in the office in December for a follow up. So wonderful to have found such a caring and and kind physician. He helped me and cured what I had and we loved talking about his travels and pictures. I told him I love going there and seeing all his adventures. He mentioned he was traveling soon and was going to Chile. I am in complete shock to hear of his passing. I will miss him dearly. My sincere condolence to his wife and family. Truly, he was one of a kind. May he rest in peace.

Dr Eastern and I were both part of an international online dermatology group that got started in the 90's. We shared tips on practice and learned from each other every day. More importantly, we became part of a far-flung family, sharing our personal journeys and stories. We would meet up in person at dermatology meetings, and some even started traveling the world together. Joe was one of our original members and taught us all so much with his wisdom and wit. He will be greatly missed. ...

Besides being a great doctor he made my visits enjoyable with his great sense of humor and filling me in on his latest travel adventure. The last one being his trip to Japan. We talked about sushi and how happy he was to see his family God bless and my sincere condolences to his wife and family.
