Not sure what to say?

Dear Anne, I am sorry for your loss. I graduated from St. Thomas and Polly was in my class. After graduating from Eastern with a teaching certificate and no jobs available, I was hired at Edwards Brothers in their employee relations department. Joe was president of the company then and was so welcoming. I retired from the company many years later as Human Resource Manager. I will always be thankful to Joe and all the Edwards family for the opportunity given me when I began my career.

To Jenny Boone:
I received your message in my email Inbox, asking to put me in contact with your mother.
Sorry if it looked like my post on your dear dad's guest book was anonymous. I did sign my post at the bottom: Terri Huntwork Addison. I am the middle daughter of Ray and Ethel Huntwork. Barb Robbins (who also posted in the guest book at least twice) is my oldest sister. There are three more of us, but I don't think they were as connected to the Edwards family as Barb and I...

Dear Sam, Of course, my folks (Ray and Ethel Huntwork) and my husband (Dan Robbins) as well as myself, all thought well of Joe and all of you. You may want to get in touch with a bunch of our classmates all at once in our [email protected] group, by letting Alice Close know of your interest. I believe there are almost 100 of us in it. Did you know a couple dozen also lunch together at Weber's the last Wednesday of every month? Jeff Rentschler sends photos which we all cherish. It...

To the family of Joe Edwards: My sincere sympathies to you all. My parents Ray and Ethel Huntwork considered Joe a good friend as well as my dad's boss for years. Joe took my dad hunting at least once. In preparation for flying to Drummond Island for hunting, Joe and Ray decided to test our dog for airsickness and I got to go along for the ride. That was my first flight ever, and I was thrilled to soar above Ann Arbor and see what it looked like from aloft. Thank you, Joe!

Dear Ann, Yes, I am speaking Angel Talk this moment with our family friend, Joe. My dad Ray Huntwork, mom Ethel Huntwork, and husband Dan Robbins cared about you and Joe all the years we worked with him and knew you. Thank you for sharing him with us. Barbara Huntwork Robbins

Dear Edwards family, Having known Polly in high school at St. Thomas and to have been a employed by EB for 25 years, I respect and honor all the Edwards have done for the community. A most wonderful family. Ann, my prayers are with you.

Dear Ann ~ Dad just saw that Joe passed away and called me. I ALWAYS enjoyed time I spent with the both of you. Joe was a very special person in so many ways, and I really liked the times he would come into the travel agency to arrange a trip and we spent some time talking. An interesting and good man, who will be missed by so many. Love to you and your family. And I hope you all have lots of smiles through the tears when telling good stories of life with Joe! love, Tracy Paul Hardin

Ann~ you and your family are in my thoughts and my prayers. I truly loved Joe and he would always put a smile on my face when he would come and visit us here at Edwards Brothers. He truly was an admired man by me. Sincerely, Cindy Rohraff
