My heart is broken. Joe has meant so much to me. I will forever remember our last conversation. You loved your family so much and were so blessed with 2 beautiful daughters, son-in-laws and grandchildren. We talked about the past and the what-might-have been. Our last words to each other were, I Love You, and I am at peace with those final words. I don't know how to say goodbye to someone I've known and loved for over 35 years. You are forever in my heart.

It was amazing to see all of the people that turned out to be with our family in our time of loss. Joe touched so many people's lives, and none of us will be the same without him here. He is watching over us now, and is keeping a close eye on his grandbabies. I lost a wonderful uncle, but I take comfort in the memories that we have shared as a family.
