Not sure what to say?

To Joe's Family,

I am very sorry for your loss. I didn't know Joe, but I lost a daughter in a car accident almost 3 years ago. I know the pain you are feeling.

I played soccer with Nanette a few years ago. Nanette, please email me.

May Allah (God) reward Joe the highest levels of paradise. Amin.

I thank God for the opportunity to have known Joseph as a fellow Bruin, a fellow believer, and a teammate. I was always impressed by his sincerity when he interacted with others and his love for animals. I could not help but wish that I had a passion for something the way he had a passion to become a veterinarian. I will remember his competitiveness, his intensity, his passion, and of course his amazing blocking skills on the court. I pray that we can always remember his good qualities...

My condolences to Joe's Family. I had the fortunate opportunity to work with Joe for a summer or two and was so pleased when he decided to stay on with us for another year before returning to school. Joe had a very quiet, calm demeanor and was downright shy until you got to know him. What a wonderful person he was and taken away far too soon. I believe Joe had the passion and dedication to achieve the goal he had set for himself of becoming a veterinarian. The world, his family, his friends...

I met Joe during this past Muslim Basketball League season and I am blessed to have gotten the chance to meet and get to know such an amazing and kind human being. Joe's warm smile will be engraved in my memory forever. He and his family will also continue to be in my prayers.

My heart goes you to Joeseph's family, please accept my deepest and most sincere condolensces. I said a prayer for Joseph last night, and remembered the energy and spark in his eyes that was so infectious to those around him.
