Not sure what to say?

Joe, Tim Crowley, and Eric Dahlin were a trio of the smartest and wittiest guys in our class at Christ the King. I think the nuns knew it, too, especially Sister Josephine (Martin Mary). So sad that Tim and Joe are gone! RIP Joe.

Margaret and the Eschbach family;

Joe and I shared quarters on Capitol Hill when he was a Stanford PhD student, in the late 1970s. He was interning in DC, I was living there.

By sheer coincidence, we were both from Richland, and we got on well and had lots of common memories and shared points of reference.

We saw each other occasionally after we both left DC, and continued to hit it off.

Joe's passing is a real loss for his family. Please accept my condolences and...

My thoughts and prayers are with your family today. I am thankful to have gotten to visit a little with Joe at the 40th class reunion a few years ago. He had not changed and was still the same sweet, slightly shy, and very smart guy that he always was. We will have an even better reunion in heaven one day! God bless your family. - Jean Eckert Imholte

Joe, Tim and I were the three best friends growing up that could have ever been. What a team. Reconnecting at our 40 year reunion with Joe and our heart throbs Jean and Kerry was a lifetime achievement. Joe is a great man and the smartest man I have ever known! Say hello to Tim in the afterlife and I will see you all soon ( but not real soon ). Love you brother. Rick.....

Joe was one of my two best friends growing up in Richland. Reconnecting at our 40 year reunion was one of the most satisfying things in my adult life. He is a great man, the best, my brother for life, smartest guy I ever knew. Say hello to Timmy in heaven. See you soon: but not real soon. Luv you man!!!!!!!!!

So sorry to hear this. Blessings to all the Eschbach family.

Joe took the time to gather several photos from First grade at Christ the King School and shared them with us at the last "Bomber" class reunion in Richland. We had several good laughs remembering life with the nuns! Joe will be missed by all that had the good fortune of meeting him.

I enjoyed meeting Joe and family at a large dinner at your home held for Margaret's students. Kindly, I was invited to attend as I was visiting my daughter at the time.
I was struck by Joe's gentle, relaxed demeanor and generous smile.
I am so sorry for your loss...

I have fond memories of Joe at Christ the King and enjoyed catching up at the last reunion. R.I.P. Joe.
