Not sure what to say?

I was a small kid on Oak Grove Road when Joe and Marilyn moved into the neighborhood. Joe and Marilyn were good to the kids on the block, they always had the hose available for the thirsty mob that lived on a pbj in their pocket and who needed water to wash it down. Later on I coached their kids on the Jackson Swim Club, Joe and Marilyn were always at the swim meets and helped with running them. Joe was the typical 60´s helpful dad on the street, I will always remember Joe and other dads...

Seldom do we meet people in life that can make a meaningful difference in your life. Joe was one of those people as he was for me. I worked in the shop at Aeroquip and went to college at night to try and better my position in life. When me name was suggested to Joe as replacement for one of his reports that had moved on, he contacted me to set down with him when my shift was over in the shop as a union worker. We talked for a couple of hours and he decided to give me a chance. He or I never...

To Marilyn and family of Joe. I send my condolences to you and your family. I lived with my parents, Bus and Opal Wood, across from you and Joe on Oak Grove Rd. in Jackson. I too worked at Aeroquip for a couple years. Blessings to you , Harriet (Wood) Montgomery

Joe always helped out at the pistol matches, he always had a story and was fun to talk to. He will be missed at the Jackson Revolver club and the Jackson Sportsman's Club. Roger and Penny Dickinson

Will miss seeing you when I ride by on my bike Mr. Evans. Many good childhood memories, Rest in Peace. Tom

I´m so grateful I got to know and love, Joe! He gave me such a warm welcome to the family! You will be very missed, Dad!

Joe was great guy. He gave me my start at Aeroquip in SES. We talked about many things and he said "your the guy to fill the slot I have open." I owe him my existence at Aeroquip because he hired me from the shop when no one else would offer me enough money to make the switch. He taught me a lot about the industry and how to deal we people that were sometimes difficult to please. I worked at Aeroquip for 34 years before retiring to The Villages in Fl., but I'm not sure how much would have...

Worked with Joe at Aeroquip. He was one of the nicest people to work with and he always appreciated the letters I typed for him. He would often share recipes that his wife made. Bless the family

Joe Evans sounds like a delightful guy.
