I was very grateful for the opportunities to perform roles with him and work with other singers in the area. Also his encouragement. He would refer to himself in the programs as Jopino Suanare. My deepest sympathies on the loss of Joe. I was fortunate to be a part of the KC Community Opera Company and share in his talent and passion. He will be missed by many, but I know the heavens now have an additional 'voice' to bring us home.
